TransWorld Film Group has designed innovative educational programs to train emerging filmmakers in the methodologies developed and perfected in the film industry over almost 100 years. Our team has been active in feature film production at the highest level for many years and come to education with rich experience in filmmaking. We have successfully designed some of the most effective programs to enable young filmmakers acquire essential skills.
Education is just like any language, the language of film or, visual storytelling, is best learned by immersion. Our teaching approach is based on the principle that people learn best by doing. This language is used for many forms of communication such as: narrative film, television, documentaries, commercials, music videos etc.
Through our programs, students will learn the grammar, syntax and beauty of this universal language to communicate to the rest of the world, eloquently and elegantly, and with emotional impact. We will nurture such expressiveness by inspiring student to develop self-awareness and outer awareness.
Our educational pedagogy is holistic, and very much hands on. Students are supported in the development of their full potential as visual storytellers. Our education is adaptive to both changes in the culture and the individual needs of our students. We offer the means for students to develop proficiency in the art and craft of visual storytelling as well as the necessary entrepreneurial strategies with which to build solid and successful careers.
Instruction will be primarily in English to equip emerging filmmakers with the ability to reach a global audience.
TransWorld Film Group is a production company and has embarked on the development of co-productions with International partners. These co-productions focus on screenplays from past productions and television series, which are translated and revised for the purpose of producing them in international territories for international distribution.
Great stories appeal on a human level and, as such, can reach audiences everywhere. The productions we envisage acquiring and revising will be adapted to integrate local culture into the plot. Our intention is to preserve original themes but to offer them in a form that different national audiences will be able to engage with. Such connectivity will build bridges between people of different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
